Common starting points

Public guidance

These answers explain the platform at a general level. The exact screens and actions available depend on your subscription, enabled modules, company, and role.

Requesting invitation-only beta access

Beta access

Odarius is not open for automatic signup while the platform is being tested. Use the beta-access request to describe your business stage, location, registration, team size, operating volume, testing readiness, and what you hope the platform will improve.

Submitting a request does not create an account. Odarius reviews whether the operation is a safe, useful fit and confirms the testing scope, limitations, feedback rhythm, and enabled public beta modules before issuing an invitation. Hardware, payment processing, and other third-party costs remain separate.

Businesses that complete agreed testing and feedback may qualify for discounted launch access. The exact benefit and conditions are confirmed in writing before testing begins.

Is Darius a real restaurant, and who are the guides?

Odarius story

No. Darius is a fictional Persian-inspired sample restaurant created solely to demonstrate the Odarius platform. Its menus, people, activity, and business information are illustrative.

Dario, the Steward, and Sepsut, the Strategist, are fictional professional co-hosts. Anna and Odi are their fictional companions. They appear selectively in website stories, help, and future walkthroughs; none represents a real person, animal, or business.

Dario is a modern fictional interpretation inspired by Darius the Great and themes of organization, communication, and trade. Sepsut is inspired by Hatshepsut and themes of leadership, building, and trade. They are not historical reconstructions. Read the full background.

Getting into the right company

Account & access

Start at app.odarius.com and sign in with your Odarius identity. Your company membership determines which company workspace you can enter.

If the expected company or tools are missing, contact your company administrator. A successful login does not automatically grant access to every company or capability.

Understanding what your role can do

Account & access

Your role controls which screens, records, and actions are available. An owner, manager, register user, kitchen user, and specialist should not all receive the same controls.

If your responsibilities changed, ask your company administrator to review your role rather than sharing another person’s account.

Starting a register order

Orders & service

Open the register view available to your role, choose the service or dining mode, add the items and choices, then review the bill before sending the order forward.

The exact payment and receipt steps depend on the company configuration and connected capabilities.

Following an incoming online order

Online operations

Use the online operations view to watch new work, current status, messages, and delivery or collection handoff. The view is designed to show what needs attention rather than making you check separate order channels.

Working with kitchen tickets

Kitchen

Kitchen tickets can move to the correct station, show elapsed time, group preparation work, and support the handoff to the pass. Only take actions your station and role are assigned to perform.

Changing a menu item or price

Menu & pricing

Menu and pricing changes should be made through the authorized management tools, so the connected views can use one shared source. Review availability, choices, recipes, and channel-specific effects before publishing a change.

Reviewing stock and purchasing

Stock & cost

When enabled, stock tools can support counts, ingredient usage, purchasing, suppliers, waste, and food-cost visibility. Use the company’s agreed counting and approval process so operational numbers stay meaningful.

Connecting sensors and water shutoff controls

Building monitoring

Odarius can work with compatible devices for water-leak detection, toilet-feed or main-valve shutoff, electrical monitoring, and fridge or freezer temperatures.

Device compatibility, professional installation, alert thresholds, automation rules, and permission to operate a remote control must be confirmed for each company before the capability is enabled. Check the current hardware status.

Schedules, availability, and clock-ins

Team

Team capabilities may include schedules, availability, time requests, clock-ins, labour visibility, and communication. What each person sees depends on the company setup and their role.

Customer messages and feedback

Customers

When enabled, customer tools can bring history, conversations, feedback, loyalty, and campaigns closer to the service context. Access should be limited to people who need customer information for their work.

Understanding reports and expenses

Business view

Financial and reporting capabilities may include sales, payments, tax, expenses, reconciliation, and operating performance. Confirm your company’s reporting process before treating a single screen as final accounting advice.

Requesting a demonstration

Demo

The public website shows real product screens from a safe demo workspace. Email hello@odarius.com to discuss a guided demonstration and the right capability set for your operation.

No instruction or public help topic matches that search. Ask the Odarius guide below, or email hello@odarius.com.

A specific company question needs company context.

The public guide cannot see your account, orders, or business data. Contact your administrator or Odarius for the right next step.
