Why Odarius
Odarius is built by a restaurateur, for restaurant operators who are tired of stitching the day together across disconnected tools, duplicate entry, and screens that show everything except what matters now.
Who is building this
Odarius is not a software company's idea of a restaurant. It is being built by an operator, for his own restaurant first, while that restaurant is open and serving. Every screen in it had to survive a real service before it was offered to anybody else.
That is the reason for the shape of it, and it is also the limit of it: a platform built from one operator's kitchen knows that kitchen best. Yours will differ. The honest version of this promise is that the parts are connected and the paperwork is lighter — not that your business will succeed.
See what it costsA good shift is people paying attention to guests. Every minute a manager spends copying figures between screens, or a server spends explaining a system, is a minute taken out of the room. That is the cost this platform is trying to lower.
Suppliers, packs, price changes, a delivery that does not match the order, an invoice that arrives as a photograph. None of it reaches the guest, and all of it takes the evening. It is the first place the platform tries to earn its keep.
The hours, the stock, the costs, the returns — the work that waits until the room is empty and the person doing it is already tired. Records that write themselves during service are worth more here than any report.
A connected system is not an argument for taking people out of the room. How a venue greets, seats and serves is the venue's own decision — a QR menu, a printed one, or a server with a pad are all legitimate ways to run a restaurant, and Odarius is meant to fit whichever one a venue chooses.
The till on its own is free and stays free. A single module is priced on its own; Pro covers every module published to subscribers; an extra location is priced per site. Prices are published on the pricing page, and we take no percentage of your sales. Subscriptions are not open yet — access is by invitation while the platform is tested.

What we believe
The best operating system does not demand more attention. It returns attention to the people running the business.
Restaurants already carry enough pressure: service, kitchen timing, stock, pricing, teams, customers, messages, feedback, and the numbers behind it all. Our aim is to connect that work so the system creates clarity instead of another layer of administration.
How we build
Show the person what matters for the job in front of them. More controls are not automatically more useful.
Connected information should move the operation forward without creating duplicate work at every handoff.
One identity can be convenient without becoming a master key. Company, subscription, and role boundaries remain meaningful.
The system should help a shift run, a decision get made, or a problem surface—not just produce an impressive dashboard.
Capabilities should be enabled for a reason. A subscriber does not need every module simply because the platform can support it.
Help, product language, and workflows should be understandable without requiring someone to learn our internal vocabulary.
The story behind Odarius
The Darius restaurant was created solely to demonstrate the Odarius platform. Its Persian-inspired setting, cuisine, team, customers, and operating activity give our tours and examples one consistent world without using a real restaurant’s information.
Everything in this story is fictional. Dario and Sepsut are the platform’s guides. Anna and Odi are their companions. None of them represents a real employee, customer, operator, animal, or venue.
The name Odarius draws on Darius the Great, who is associated with imperial administration, improved roads and way stations, and a more uniform monetary system that supported communication and trade. Those themes give the fictional Darius restaurant—and Dario, its modern guide—a meaningful connection to organized operations and the movement of information.
Hatshepsut is remembered for extensive building activity and the trading expedition to Punt. That record of leadership and outward-looking trade inspired Sepsut, the Strategist, whose role is to help explain figures, patterns, and the wider operating picture.
Dario and Sepsut are modern fictional interpretations, not historical reconstructions or portrayals. Their names and roles acknowledge inspiration; their stories belong entirely to Odarius.

The Odarius guides
Dario, the Steward, and Sepsut, the Strategist, are equal professional co-hosts created to explain a large platform without making it feel complicated. Anna and Odi accompany them in selected scenes.

A thoughtful host for the wider operating picture, connected signals, and better-informed decisions.
All four characters are fictional visual hosts for the website, help, and future walkthroughs. They do not imply that a live AI assistant is available throughout the platform.

Odarius is invitation-only during beta. We review each request to find operations that can test safely and provide useful feedback. Participants who complete the agreed testing may qualify for discounted launch access; exact terms are confirmed in writing before testing begins.
