Odarius uses AI for the parts of restaurant administration that are slow and repetitive — reading a supplier invoice, turning a price list into an import, drafting a purchase order or a recipe. Each one produces a draft that a person reads, corrects and approves. Nothing below changes a price, sends an order or publishes anything on its own.
Every AI step ends with a person.
Where a capability is marked Available, it is built and in use. Needs setup means the workspace has to connect or switch something on first. In build means it is being built now and is not part of a subscription yet.
Paperwork
Read it once, not three times.
Documents arrive as photos, PDFs and printed sheets. Odarius reads them into the right shape and shows you what it found.
Invoices & receipts Available
Reads the supplier, dates, reference, totals, taxes, payment details and the individual lines into a draft entry. Anything it is unsure of is flagged rather than guessed. The same reader handles what arrives by email — invoices, statements, credit notes, receipts, proofs of payment and card settlement reports — matches each one to the bill it belongs to, and holds anything it cannot place for sorting rather than filing it somewhere wrong.
You give it: a photo or a PDF, or a document that arrives in the bookkeeping email station.
You approve: the entry before it is booked.
Supplier price lists Available
Pulls out product names, codes, pack sizes, units, prices and currency into an import you can check line by line. A plain spreadsheet is read without AI.
You give it: the supplier’s PDF or photo price list.
You approve: the prices before they reach the catalogue.
Delivery evidence Available
Reads it against the purchase order and the receipt already in the system, and proposes received quantities and prices.
You give it: the delivery note or a photo of what arrived.
You approve: the received lines before stock and cost change.
Daily work
A draft to react to beats a blank screen.
Ordering, recipes, quotes and questions about your own numbers — started for you, finished by you.
Management assistant Available
Understands the request against your real items, suppliers and weeks, asks one question when something is unclear, and turns it into a card: add to the order list, draft the supplier order, repeat a schedule, report a repair. Invited managers share one conversation and see who asked for what. Premium add-on: it spends the workspace’s AI credit, the balance sits on the screen as you use it, and when the credit is gone messages are still saved while nothing is changed until more is added.
You give it: a sentence: “order a case of limes from Fairway”, “repeat last week’s schedule”, “the ice machine is leaking”.
You approve: the card, before anything is written.
Recipe drafting Available
Proposes ingredients, quantities, method and the points a chef should check, then matches the ingredients to your catalogue and flags what it could not match.
You give it: the name of the dish.
You approve: the recipe before it costs a plate.
Catering quotes Available
Proposes a quote from your existing menu presets. Without an AI provider connected, the same screen still works from your presets.
You give it: guest count, budget, service style and dietary needs.
You approve: the quote before the customer sees it.
Questions about the operation Available
Answers from your own records, inside what your role is allowed to see, with confirmation and undo on anything it changes.
You give it: a question in the app: how sales went, what a price or promotion is doing.

Answering and connecting, on your terms.
These need a decision from the company before they do anything: which channels are open, and who may connect.
Guest messages & order drafts Needs setup
Drafts replies grounded in your menu and opening information, and can prepare an order draft for confirmation. Off until the company enables the channel and the order-draft capability separately.
You give it: the channels you switch on, and your live menu.
You approve: the reply and the order, before either goes out.
Connecting your own software Needs setup
Lets an outside AI tool read the business information you permit and submit data-entry drafts for review. It is an integration, not someone else running your restaurant.
You give it: a connection you authorise, scoped to what it may read and write.

A guided conversation for access requests and onboarding. Today the public site answers from prepared text, not a language model — we will not call that AI until it is.

It is easy to call everything AI. These are the lines we hold to.
01No voice ordering
Odarius does not take orders by voice. Where you see AI, you are reading and approving text.
No photo of a shelf becoming stock
There is no general recognition of items from pictures, and no reading of use-by dates off packaging. Reading a date on an invoice is not the same thing.
Counting is not AI
Barcode lookup, stock search, reports and cost arithmetic are ordinary software doing sums. We do not relabel them.
Nothing runs the restaurant by itself
AI never grants a permission, never reaches another company’s data, and never approves its own work.
Included where it is included. Document reading, recipe drafting and the rest belong to the modules that carry them. The Management assistant is a separate premium add-on with a monthly AI allowance, so a workspace knows what it is spending before it spends it. Every AI call is recorded against the workspace that made it, with the provider, the model and the tokens it used, and priced from a published rate — a model nobody has priced yet is charged at the dearest known rate rather than counted as free. The spend is a number you can read, not an estimate.
