# Request stock by name and review pending requests

## 00:00:00.000 — Find the item

When an item needs replenishing, you can ask for more from the point of sale. Open Take a picture, then Scan an item. Search for Limes by name.

## 00:00:14.000 — Check the quantity

Choose Limes and check that you have the right item. For this demonstration, enter a requested quantity of six. Check the item and quantity before sending the request.

## 00:00:31.000 — Send the request

Select Ask for more. The app confirms: Asked for. Limes is on the to-order list. This asks the purchasing team to review the need for more stock.

## 00:00:46.000 — Review the pending request

In the web purchase-order page, find Asked for. Check that Limes appears with a requested quantity of six. The request is now visible for purchasing review.

## 00:01:05.000 — Understand the result

The stock request records what is needed. This request has not sent an order to a supplier or changed the stock quantity. You have sent the request and checked that it reached the purchasing queue.
